Dear testo Customer
Congratulations for choosing a testo product. We hope that you will enjoy many years of using the product and that it will help you in your work. If contrary to expectations, problems should occur which you cannot rectify yourself, please consult our service department or your dealer. We will endeavor to provide fast and competent assistance.
Warranty
The testo AG issues a worldwide warranty with a time limit on all of its products in accordance with the following listed warranty conditions Testo issues the warranty from the date of the first purchase. The warranty covers all material and manufacturer faults.
Faults occurring during the warranty time will be rectified by testo AG, its authorized sales subsidiaries or authorized dealers in accordance with the following conditions and without charge for labor and material costs.
Either the defective components will be replaced with new spare parts or the entire product will be replaced according to testo estimation.

The following are excluded from the manufactures warranty:

- Wear parts(e.g. rechargeable batteries/ batteries, measuring cells, printing mechanisms) and consumables (e.g. printer paper)


- Damage caused by:

- Use contrary to the intended purpose or failure to observe the instruction manual and/or the safety instructions
- Lack of care, accidents or normal wear,
- External influences (e.g. damage during transport, damage caused by vibration, excess heat, water, moisture or acids.)
- Use of unsuitable accessories


- This warranty expires if:

- The type or serial number of the product is changed, deleted, removed or made illegible
- Repairs or modifications are undertaken by third parties or unauthorized persons.


- The warranty covers none of the following items

- Regular maintenance and repairs or the replacement of parts due to normal wear,
- The costs of packaging and transport,
- The costs of repairs, adjustments or similar measures taken beyond the extent of this warranty

Enclose a brief description of the fault and the purchase receipt, indicating the delivery and purchase dates, together with the product. Please also give us your telephone number for any inquiries.
Warranty repairs do not extend the period of warranty.
Further claims of any kind against testo such as commercial transformation, price reduction or compensation will not be processed.

This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law. Our goods come with guarantees which cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. You are entitled to replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The following time limits apply to instruments and accessories in Australia.
Instrument 24 months, Probes 12 months, Accessories 6 months

Shipping
All goods are posted within 1-3 working days from the date we receive payment. Not all items are kept in stock. This usually relates to higher priced or specialised equipment, and therefore a lead time can be experienced. In cases where a lead time of more than 4-14 days is expected, we will email you and advise of this, in order to ensure that you are made fully aware, prior to processing payment. If you require any item urgently, we would advise you to contact us and confirm stock levels. Items not in stock will have a lead time of usually no more than 14 - 21 days approx.
Payment
We have full EFTPOS facilities, and will also accept bank deposit as an alternative method of payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX cards. All orders must be fully paid for prior to dispatch.
Within Australia
We use Australia Post for all deliveries within Australia and delivery dates are dependent on the Australia Post service offered and delivery address. Australia Post offers a next working day delivery to most metropolitan areas but for rural areas allow an additional 7 – 10 working days (approx).All packages can be tracked by customers as we can provide you with your tracking number.
Return
All instruments carry a 2 Year warranty/probes 1 year warranty, and therefore if faulty, due to workmanship will be repaired or replaced. Please notify us by e-mail of your wish to return the goods, explaining the problem. We will acknowledge your email with a reply.  Please quote your tax invoice number if the item is deemed to be returnable due to fault.  Damaged or worn items will not be accepted, other than a warranty issue. Misuse or breakages will NOT be accepted for warranty return. If an item is received in a non-working condition, you must inform us and should you wish to return the item to us for repair or replacement, it must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. In cases where a customer wishes to return a non-faulty item, testo Pty Ltd reserves the right to apply a 15% re-stocking fee. A decision to accept or refuse a non-warranty return is at the complete discretion of testo Pty Ltd. Definition of faults are at the discretion of testo Pty Ltd. Please note that no refund will apply to returned items not bearing a tax invoice number issued by us. Return shipping cost will also be the responsibility of customer. By placing your order for goods, this constitutes an agreement of these terms and conditions.
